Hi, I'm Steve Cobbin, semi retired science teacher, now artist, living in the beautiful county of Somerset. An illness forced me to give up full time teaching but no complaints! I now work part time with ASD teenagers and fill the rest of the week with exploring the countryside on foot or two wheels and record what I see in pencil, paint or photography.

I love the timeless beauty of the countryside, the open moors and fells, green valleys, mountains, wetlands and the coast, and forests.

I have drawn, painted and photographed the uplands of Exmoor, Dartmoor, the Quantocks and the mountains of Wales as well as the wetland moors of the Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills, my local area.

I work in Acrylic on canvas, watercolour and pencil.
